ARTIC WHITE DUCK/GOOSEDOWN 100%
The quality of the down is determined by its size. The larger the down,
the more air it can accommodate and the greater its TOG rating. A cold
climate is of the greatest significance to our Arctic duck/goose down
quality.
Filled in our inlets this down makes a very light white beautiful
content,suitable for the full range of Norvegr down duvets,coping with
cold winternights as well as humid autumn and warm summer temperatures,
giving you a light, comfortable climate under your Norvegr down duvet.

ARTIC WHITE GOOSE
Seabirds living in the Arctic develop a most impressive down quality,
appreciated by the Vikings a thousands years ago, and now by us. The down
from the Arctic White goose is extremely white and light. This down
quality belongs to the very best available among the commercialized
qualities in the marked. Arctic White Goose gives you a beautiful white,
warm, light and comfortable duvet. Arctic White Goose has slightly lower
fillingpower than SIBERIAN WHITE SNOWGOOSE and is available in larger
quantities. TOG rating 12+
SIBERIAN WHITE SNOWGOOSE
Is our suppliers reg. trademark. This natural filling product is known
worldwide for its unique quality, and fillingpower. Nearly wild living
geese protect themselves in the Siberian winter against temperatures of
minus 40 degrees C by the biggest down balls ever measured among
commercialized qualities. This natural construction enables the Siberian
geese to stay alive in the Siberian winter, which is the coldest place for
farming. Siberian White Snow Goose is probably the best commercialized
goosedown quality in the world, giving a unique, warm and beautiful and
very light duvet. TOG rating 13+
EIDERDOWN
The Queen of Downs. Norwegian EIDERDOWN, the only EIDERDOWN in the world
that is cleaned by hand. This manuell method allows the superbe
qualities of the EIDERDOWN to be maintained, and this makes EIDERDOWN
the unique down-material.
EIDERDOWN has a unique insulating quality. The lifetime of a duvet with
EIDERDOWN is many times longer than average. Several EIDERDOWN-duvets
are more than a 100 years old.
One EIDERDOWN duvet requires rawmaterial from 60 nests. That gives 1 kg.
handcleaned EIDERDOWN, necessary to fill one regular duvet 140 x 200 cm.
One experienced person needs at least one week of hard work to
hand-clean 1 kg. of EIDERDOWN directly from nest. Norwegian handcleaned
EIDERDOWN is available in very small quantities. The total production in
the year 2002 was approximately 15 kgs.
Inlets
For duvets we use the fabric quality known as "The best Swiss Batiste",
made from the finest Egyptian cotton, with a thread count of 351 pr.
square inch.
For the pillows, we use a fabric quality with a thread count of 265 pr.
square inch.
These qualities are woven to give the user maximum comfort, with a
beautiful finish.
Out of these beautiful rawmaterials, we are making duvets in most
Scandinavian and international measures as;
Winter duvets; Warm, soft , comfortable duvets, even
for you sleeping in a cold
room, windows opened, and the wintertemperatures freezing ice on your
glass of water
Allround duvets; The down duvet for the sleeper in a
relatively even temperature through the year, as in rooms with
aircondition. A many “channelled “duvet filled with a higher amount of
down than the summer duvet.
Summer duvets; Light airy duvets, making hot nights dry and comfortable beneath a very light duvet, filled with small amounts of down, spread in many “channels”, an almost “see through“ duvet.
